I guess for me would be Cream's farewell concert at the old Spectrum.I have already panned this show because it was in the round w/ a revolving stage and you literally could only hear them when they faced you directly. When they started to revolve away the sound was distant, uneven, choppy and the worst idea to cram as many people into an arena as possible.
Another bad show was a benefit peace concert at MSG w/ many big name acts and Jimi as headliner. The show itself wasn't all that bad w/ each band doing 3-4 songs but when it was Jimi's turn he walked on stage and about 17,000 flash cubes went off and he just left the stage w/o playing a note. One Dead show at Winterland I did walk out of but since I'm not into dates and times I couldn't say when it happened.

They had the same set up at MSG when they first started booking bands there. Saw Hendrix and Blind Faith on that fucking revolving stage. Just terrible!

The absolute truth. This was clearly the worst conceived show ever in the history of rock.I'm sure we've all heard muddy ,tinny and bad p.a.s but this was beyond terrible. One other worst of which I also posted priviously was Van Morrison at The Great American Music Hall,he was so drunk ,staggering ,stammering all over the place and we just saw him a month earlier at a club in Marin called Rancho Nacasio where he was great and Huie Lewis and the News opened and they were also good and this was way before they hit big. This was the only time I demanded my money back and got it because it was so obvious mngmt. didn't want a run on the box office.
